Captain One: Al Alamiya Al Hura and Golden System Partner to Launch a Delivery App in Saudi Arabia

Al Alamiya Al Hura for Information Technology has signed a partnership agreement with Golden System Trading Company to develop and operate the Captain One delivery app in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership aims to build an app connecting customers with delivery drivers, with plans to serve regions across the Kingdom before expanding into other Arab markets.

Captain One Delivery Services in Saudi Arabia:

Captain One is designed to provide technology solutions for both sides of the delivery service: customers requesting deliveries and drivers fulfilling them.

According to the announced project plan, investment will support the app’s rollout across Saudi Arabia, paving the way for expansion into other Arab countries while addressing operational and growth requirements.

Al Alamiya Al Hura’s Role in Developing Captain One:

Al Alamiya Al Hura’s involvement began at the idea stage, covering concept analysis, technical development, launch preparations, and operational planning.

Its role in the partnership extends to helping build and operate the venture, combining software development with consulting on the app’s launch and operational management.

Evaluating the Idea and Analyzing Project Requirements:

Before development began, the Al Alamiya Al Hura team examined the app’s concept and needs to define development and operational requirements and establish a clear project outline.

Designing and Developing the App:

The team then moved into technical implementation, focusing on building a scalable application that could accommodate plans for wider coverage and future service expansion.

Preparing for Market Launch:

The project included preparations to introduce the app to the Saudi market, coordinating technical and operational aspects ahead of the start of service.

Developing the Operational Plan:

The work included preparing a plan to manage operations after launch, supporting the start of service and laying the foundations for generating returns based on project performance and market conditions.

Signing the Partnership Agreement in Dubai:

The agreement was signed at Al Alamiya Al Hura’s Dubai office by Eng. Osama Abu Muslim, Chairman of Al Alamiya Al Hura, and Mr. Saeed Al Asmari, Chairman of Golden System Trading Company.

The agreement established a framework for collaboration and a path toward developing and operating the app in Saudi Arabia.

A Partnership Supporting the Venture’s Development and Growth:

The Captain One partnership builds on Al Alamiya Al Hura’s approach to participating in the development and operation of technology ventures, following its partnership with the Keepers app.

This model enables continued collaboration between the development team and the business partner after the app is built, addressing operational and development needs as the venture grows.

According to the announcement issued in August 2022, the company’s team was preparing for Captain One’s official launch in the period following the agreement.
