Al Alamiya Al Hura for Information Technology has renewed its contract with the ZOZ delivery app to upgrade its full range of services ahead of its launch in Saudi Arabia.
The move forms part of the app’s expansion plan, backed by new investment, following three years of serving the Egyptian market.
Three Years of Delivery Services in Egypt:
During its operations in Egypt, ZOZ provided round-the-clock delivery services covering restaurant, supermarket, and pharmacy orders, alongside parcel delivery.
This experience provides a foundation for the app’s expansion preparations, with services being developed to suit the needs and operating conditions of the Saudi market.
Renewed Collaboration to Develop ZOZ:
The new contract extends the collaboration between ZOZ and Al Alamiya Al Hura, marking a development phase focused on entering a new market.
Under the agreement, Al Alamiya Al Hura will upgrade the app’s full range of services to meet operating requirements in Saudi Arabia and support its technical readiness for the next phase.
Continuing the collaboration allows the development work to build on existing knowledge of the project and align with the app’s plans and operational needs.
Preparing to Enter the Saudi Market:
The contract focuses on preparing ZOZ to operate in the Kingdom, drawing on its delivery experience and diverse range of services.
According to the announcement issued in November 2022, the app was preparing to launch in Saudi Arabia as part of its plans to expand its operations and reach new customers.
