Privacy policy

This policy explains how True Ventures collects, uses, keeps and discloses your personal data, whether you are visiting this website or dealing with us as a client. The company is headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with offices in Dubai, New Cairo and Mansoura.

We process personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its implementing regulations.

1. Personal information we collect

We collect personal data only when you provide it yourself, or when it is needed to deliver a service you asked for. That includes:

  • Contact form: name, email address, mobile number, company name and the text of your message.
  • Newsletter: your email address, and nothing else.
  • Engaging our services: contact and company details, and the information required for invoicing, including what tax invoices require by law.
  • Your correspondence: what you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone about ongoing work.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health or belief information. We neither request nor store payment card details; online payments, where offered, are handled by a licensed payment gateway.

2. Using the website

You can browse the site and read our work, services and articles without providing any personal data. You are only asked to identify yourself when you submit a form or subscribe to the newsletter.

3. Non-personal information and cookies

We may automatically collect technical information that does not identify you on its own — browser, operating system and device type, the pages you visited and how long you stayed, and how you reached the site.

The site uses a limited set of cookies. Some are necessary for it to work at all, such as remembering the language you chose and whether you prefer the light or dark theme; others support performance measurement and analytics. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though disabling the necessary ones may affect parts of the site.

4. How we use the information

  • Answering your enquiries, preparing proposals and discussing your project.
  • Delivering, supporting and maintaining the services contracted.
  • Issuing invoices, collecting payment and meeting statutory and tax obligations.
  • Sending the newsletter to those who subscribed, with an unsubscribe link in every issue.
  • Improving the site, measuring its performance and understanding which content is most useful.
  • Protecting our systems and preventing abusive or fraudulent use.

We do not use your personal data for marketing unrelated to what you asked for, and we do not sell, rent or trade it to anyone.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on one of the following bases: your explicit consent (subscribing to the newsletter, for instance); performance of a contract you are party to, or steps taken at your request before one; compliance with a legal obligation; or a legitimate interest that does not override your rights, such as securing our systems and improving our services.

6. How we protect your information

We apply technical and organisational safeguards proportionate to the data and the risk: encrypted connections to the site, access to data restricted on a need-to-know basis, two-step verification on administrative accounts, and periodic review of permissions and access logs.

Even so, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely. Should a breach affecting your data occur, we take the necessary steps and notify the competent authority and the people affected as the law requires.

7. Sharing personal data

We share your personal data only in these cases:

  • Service providers acting for us — hosting, email and analytics tools — to the extent needed to perform their function, and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Competent authorities where required by law or by a judicial order.
  • With your explicit consent to share for a specific purpose.

8. Transfers outside the Kingdom

Because we have offices in the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and because some of our services rely on international providers, some data may be processed outside Saudi Arabia. Where that happens, we put in place the contractual and technical safeguards required, consistent with the Personal Data Protection Law and its rules on transfer outside the Kingdom.

9. Retention

We keep your data for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires. Enquiry details are kept for a reasonable period to follow up; contract and invoice records are kept for the period accounting and tax law requires; newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. What is no longer needed is destroyed or anonymised.

10. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:

  • Be informed of how your data is collected and why.
  • Request access to your data and obtain a copy of it.
  • Request that your data be corrected, completed or updated.
  • Request that your data be destroyed once it is no longer needed or the basis for processing it has ended.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we will respond within the period the law sets. You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority in the Kingdom.

11. Third-party websites

Our site may link to sites and accounts we do not run, such as social media profiles and the websites of our partners and clients. This policy does not apply to them, we are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read each one’s own privacy policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are published on this page with a revised date. We encourage you to review it periodically; continuing to use the site after an update means you are aware of the change.

13. Your acceptance of this policy

By using this site or submitting any of its forms, you confirm that you have read this policy and accept it.

14. Contact us

For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights over your personal data, reach us through the contact page or by phone on +966 56 241 0755.
