Questions

Asked before every project

The questions we answer most often about Operations systems. Anything not here, ask us directly.

Ask us insteadA specialist replies, not a form
What do you mean by operations systems?

The way the work actually flows: who does what, in what order, with what approval and what record. We map it, redesign the parts that waste time, and write it down so it survives the people who invented it.

Is this software or process work?

Process first. Automating a bad process makes it fail faster, so we fix the flow on paper, then automate only the steps that earn it.

How disruptive is it to the team?

We work alongside them rather than above them: observation, short interviews and a draft they correct. A workflow the team did not help write is a workflow nobody follows.

What does the output look like?

An operations analysis of where the time and money go, a business plan, documented workflows with owners and timings, and follow-up reports that show whether the change held.

Can you follow up after the plan is delivered?

Yes, and we recommend it. Monthly follow-up reports for a quarter are usually what separates a plan that changed the business from a document in a folder.
