Eng. Osama Abu Muslim is a businessman whose investments span technology, manufacturing, and import and export. Today, he is a co-founder, partner, and Chairman of the Board of True Ventures.
His journey in technology began in 2018 when he founded Al Alamiya Al Hura for Information Technology in Mansoura. The company later became part of True Ventures in August 2025.
In Technology: Starting in Mansoura:
Al Alamiya Al Hura began with three people in Mansoura, followed by its first office with a team of no more than ten. From the outset, the ambition was to build a software business in a regional city and invest in young talent, training them before they joined client projects.
As the team grew, the company established an operations headquarters in Mansoura covering approximately 1,400 square meters. Abu Muslim worked alongside the company’s leadership to oversee its preparation until it opened in 2022. The company subsequently expanded to Cairo and Dubai.
Building the Business:
Over the years, Al Alamiya Al Hura expanded to offices in Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, grew to more than 200 employees, and earned ISO certifications in quality management, information security, and IT service management. The company also participated in regional technology and industrial exhibitions, including GITEX Global in Dubai, LEAP in Riyadh, and the International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition (IMCE) in Cairo.
“Over six years of building and development, we have made our own distinctive mark on the technology market across the Middle East.”
From Developing Applications to Becoming a Partner:
Under his leadership, the company’s role extended beyond providing technology services. In several projects, development relationships evolved into business partnerships:
Keepers: The relationship began with developing the application for the Saudi market. In 2021, it became a formal partnership aimed at expanding within the Kingdom and internationally.
Captain One: A partnership with Golden System Trading Company, signed in Dubai, to develop and operate a delivery application serving regions across Saudi Arabia.
Egypt Real Estate Platform: A collaboration with Arab MLS to design a trusted real estate platform for the Egyptian market.
Investing in Startups:
Abu Muslim is also among the early investors in EduCash, an application that simplifies educational fee payments and is now experiencing notable growth. Describing his outlook on startups, he says:
“A startup’s true success comes not from an idea alone, but from the team’s belief in it and their continuous work to bring it to life.”

In Industry and Trade:
Abu Muslim’s business interests extend beyond technology to established industrial and commercial partnerships:
Joint manufacturing with Halawa: In the motorcycle spare parts sector.
Joint manufacturing with the Kader Factory for Developed Industries: Part of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and established in 1949, with the collaboration focused on motorcycle manufacturing.
Import and export: Across several sectors, including German cars and motorcycle spare parts. He is also a major importer of German cars.
This diverse experience gives him a practical understanding of the needs of industrial and commercial businesses. It shapes his view of technology as a tool for more efficient operations and faster expansion, closely connected to the realities of the market.
Putting the Team First:
Alongside business deals and partnerships, Abu Muslim remains actively involved with the team—from recruitment days held with the Information Technology Institute (ITI) to the annual Ramadan iftar that brings together employees and their families.
From technology to industry and trade, he brings experience across multiple sectors to his role as Chairman of True Ventures.
