Questions
Asked before every project
The questions we answer most often about Private servers. Anything not here, ask us directly.
Ask us insteadA specialist replies, not a formShould we take a dedicated or a virtual server?
A virtual private server suits most growing systems and costs far less. A fully dedicated machine is worth it when you need guaranteed hardware, heavy databases or physical isolation for compliance. We size it with you before quoting.
Do we get full root access?
Yes, the server is yours to control. Our team stays available for the parts you would rather not do, and we document every change we make so nothing about your own server is a mystery to you.
Is the server secured before handover?
It is hardened first: unnecessary services closed, firewall rules set, access limited to known keys, automatic security updates enabled and logging turned on. The handover document lists exactly what was done.
Can we host more than one project on it?
Yes, and we separate them properly so a problem in one site cannot reach another — separate users, separate databases and resource limits for each.
What if we do not have a system administrator?
Then take the server with our management service: monitoring, patching, backups and incident response are handled by our team, and you keep the access without needing to use it.
