Ahmed Naguib’s career as Co-Founder and Business Development Director at True Ventures brings together entrepreneurial experience and business development leadership. Over twenty years, he has contributed to a diverse range of projects, from government sector initiatives to entrepreneurial ventures. These experiences have shaped a practical perspective that connects an understanding of organizational needs with growth opportunities and teams’ ability to deliver. At True Ventures, Naguib brings this experience to his role as a co-founder who considers every dimension of a business: the value it delivers, the market it serves, the resources it requires, and the relationships that support its continuity and expansion.

Business Development Starts with the Right Questions:
The value of business development lies in identifying an opportunity and understanding its requirements before making a decision: What does the client actually need? Where is the opportunity for growth? And what makes the proposed solution suitable for the business?
With this in mind, Naguib’s role involves bringing the different elements together and translating client needs into a clear proposal that can be discussed and implemented. This includes developing value propositions, setting business priorities, creating opportunities for collaboration, and balancing commercial ambition with available capabilities.
This responsibility requires skills that go beyond presenting a service. It involves listening, analysis, negotiation, and understanding decision-makers’ motivations, then reaching an agreement that clearly defines what each party will contribute and what they expect from the relationship.
A Founder’s Approach to Managing Opportunities:
Founding a company provides firsthand exposure to the challenges of building a business: choosing a market, assembling a team, allocating resources, and making decisions under time and cost pressures. When evaluating a new opportunity, Naguib therefore begins with its viability and long-term sustainability: Does it address a clear need? How will it reach its customers? And what must be in place for it to become a business capable of growth?
This perspective comes from direct responsibility for businesses and the decisions that shape them. Since 2009, Naguib has founded or co-founded seven companies across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates:
- 2009–2014: Founded Elsa3a, a web services company in Mansoura, and served as its Chief Executive Officer.
- 2015–2018: Founded Awamer Alshabaka for Information Technology in Mansoura.
- 2018–2019: Founded Rimal Al Awdia for Information Technology.
- 2019: Joined Al Alamiya Al Hura for Information Technology, leading its business development from Dubai and serving as the company’s General Manager.
- 2022–2025: Co-founded Captain One, a delivery app in Riyadh, and served as its Chief Executive Officer.
- 2023: Co-founded BRO-Rides in Dubai, where he serves as Vice Chairman of the Board.
- 2024: Became Co-Founder and Business Development Director at True Ventures in Saudi Arabia.
- 2025: Co-founded Dawaniyah Games in the gaming and digital entertainment sector.
Naguib is currently preparing to launch a new venture in family counseling, guided by the mission: “For more stable families and a stronger society.”
Building Partnerships and Turning Mutual Understanding into Action:
Managing relationships and partnerships is central to the role of a business development director. A professional relationship begins with an understanding of shared interests and grows through clear commitments and consistent follow-through. This requires the ability to communicate value, discuss expectations, and establish a workable framework for collaboration.
As a co-founder, Naguib sees partnership as an ongoing responsibility that extends beyond signing an agreement. It includes following through on delivery, addressing challenges, and identifying new opportunities as client needs evolve. This approach is reflected in relationships that have continued for years:
- Captain Magdy Abdelghany: A longstanding business relationship renewed in July 2025 to manage all his social media activities, from overseeing his official accounts to designing and executing advertising campaigns.
- Egyptian Professional Footballers’ Association (EPFA): Development of the association’s website as part of an upgrade to its digital infrastructure.
- Keepers app: A relationship that began with technical support during his leadership of Al Alamiya Al Hura and later developed into a formal partnership in the app.
- Zoz app: Renewed its contract with the company when expanding from the Egyptian market into Saudi Arabia.
Experience Grounded in Practice:
Working on government sector projects and entrepreneurial ventures adds different dimensions to professional experience. Every project has its own context and stakeholders, while each business environment has requirements that influence communication, planning, and execution.
Through meetings with government entities, industry exhibitions, and partner discussions in Cairo, Riyadh, and Dubai, Naguib has developed the ability to adapt his approach to each environment’s language and priorities
