Al Alamiya Al Hura for Information Technology participated in the first alumni forum of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Damietta University. The faculty organized the event in collaboration with the University Center for Career Development (UCCD) on 8 and 9 May 2024.
The company’s participation included a talk by Eng. Ahmed El Banna, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), on standing out in the technology job market. The company also received a plaque of appreciation from the faculty.
“Out of the Box”: A Talk by Ahmed El Banna:
Eng. Ahmed El Banna delivered a talk titled “Out of the Box,” exploring the importance of thinking differently when building a successful career in technology.
The talk focused on how graduates can distinguish themselves in a competitive job market, moving beyond familiar approaches to develop ideas and solutions suited to the challenges they face.
His participation gave students and graduates a practical perspective from within a company working in software development and digital solutions.

The forum aims to strengthen connections between the faculty’s students and graduates and companies working in software and artificial intelligence, while introducing the skills needed in the workplace.
Through direct interaction with company representatives, attendees can gain a clearer understanding of recruitment requirements and the experience that can help them transition from academic study to professional practice.
Continued Participation in Educational Events:
Al Alamiya Al Hura’s participation builds on its engagement with students and trainees, following its attendance at ITI’s “A Tour To Explore” event in December 2022.

At the conclusion of its participation, Al Alamiya Al Hura received a plaque of appreciation from Damietta University’s Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence in recognition of its active contribution to the first alumni forum.
